A completed BIA, with its rank-ordered lists of critical processes, systems, suppliers, assets, and personnel, will be a highly valued and sought-after document that describes the entire business in detail.
It is often said that no one knows the details of a business as well as DR and security people do. These personnel are responsible for reducing risk across the entire business, and in the process of doing so, they will accumulate much knowledge about the business.
