I’ve read at least one article on DST (sorry, I didn’t bookmark it and it was a few weeks ago) where a CIO said, “No problem, all of our systems are on NTP.”
NTP will NOT fix the DST issue! NTP sends GMT time only, and it is up to individual systems’ timezone and Daylight Savings Time configuration to render the correct time for applications and system activities.
