Why I moved to WordPress.com

I’ve experimented with blogs, particularly Yahoo’s 360 product, but I wanted a blog that was more integrated with my website. Upon investigating websites I admired, I chose WordPress.com.

I had other options, in particular Movable Type. Both would probably suit me well; however, a friend of mine manages a commercial site that is hosted by WordPress – that became the tie-breaker for me.
