Best Advice: You cannot outsource accountability

Peter Gregory was interviewed for the September 2005 cover story for Information Security Magazine. Direct quotes include these:

You can outsource support, operations and accounting, but you cannot outsource accountability.

You cannot protect your computers until you know where they are and what’s in them. An appropriate amount of risk analysis should precede every important IT and business decision.

Also, remember that hackers have fertile imaginations and don’t play by the rules.
